Picking up vibrations
    #3714156 - 02/01/05 06:02 PM (12 years, 4 months ago)

It seems like we all are connected.

How does your thinking influence the lives of those around you on a metaphysical level? Do thoughts directed towards a person affect his/her psychological condition?

If this is the case, wouldn't a depressed person be the worst friend or especially family member one could have? Thus the right thing for a depressed one would be some kind of isolation, trying not to speculate on dear ones faiths, until ones head is straight?

I'm very depressed right now. I do feel that I give off negative vibrations in the presence of others, especially in school.

In the presence of others I am sure they will pick up on our depressed states. But this might be something physical, looks, and a consequence of the things depressed people say and do.

I mean on a more subtle level. Imagine you live in a different town than your family. Would it influence them on any level if you often worried about their well-being, their future and so on?

yeah im depressed now also...not something that happens very often but this is the worste ive bee in a while now.

im still the same person...im just greiving and full of frustrations. The anger wants to come out but i must not let the hate take control.

Im probably giving off some confusing and depressing vibes at the moment but i think friends that are not depressed are the best for freinds that are. Yes they do have the chance to bring you down....but if you bring them up then you will feel ever better!

Well, being that someone in a pumped up mood can get you going, the opposite should be true. I try to stay away from depressed people, because depression to me is self-absorbent behaviour, you get too caught up in yourself. The same is also for crowds, how depressed do you get at a bus depot or station with all these robots or depressed people go about their miserable day and express it or show it; also being at something like Bonaroo, where everyone is super stoked rubs off on you and you cant help but feel so energetic it is almost anxiety.
