Okay I have ANTOHER question.... can u successfully take a print from an untor cap? I just figure if I can leave the veil on there and that will reduce contams......any suggestions

None of these statements are to be taken seriously. FarmerD is a fictional character, and so are the things he posts.

Veil has to break (or be removed), in order to expose gills, to drop spores

The spores will fall on the veil and not on the foil.. or whatever it is?

I know people are obsessed with sterility on here, but I'd say don't worry so much about it.. When I make prints I wipe some foil down with peroxide. Leave it a while, wipe it again with alcohol swab, wait till it evaporates and drop a cap on it, seal in tub of some kind. I don't even PC it or any of that stuff. The only contam prob I've had is from someone else's print from the FSRE. Considering how easy I've found it to make decent prints.. I think whoever sent it in must have wiped they're arse on it.
