Anyone try this?

Here's my guerilla outdoor inoculation trial:

Got a garbage bad full of decaying hardwood chips. Went up into the woods, cleared out an area, spread a couple inch layer of chips down then took 5 spore prints made from the cyanescens I found this year (they were made on plain white paper) put em in the chips, watered em down and covered with another 2-3 inch wood chip layer.

Finally, placed a garbage bag over and covered this with leaves for camo. Think this scheme will work? Thanks.

you should grow some myc in jars so you have something to start it off with. then mix it with the pile. becuase you run a lot of risks doing it your way.

Thanks for the feedback. Not sure if I'll be able to grow some myc first as I don't want to take that project on.

What sort of risks do I run? I'm not particularily concerned about contamination as it's outdoors. Should I be?

yes, if you dont know the origins of the prints you may want to start on agar and then spawn it to wood.
