Hey, just walking around where i live i have noticed a huge amount of acacias of various sorts. Ive heard rumors that these contain some high levels of DMT, etc. Has anyone tried extracting from these? or have links to anything i can read on acacias?

try grinding, extracting with methanol, evaporate, of course and then smoke. ;)
just be sure they're really acacias. go to erowid's DMT section, they've got a lot of good info.

i hate witty sigs / if anything i say has something in common with reality, this is a merely a coincidence.

You do realise that only some species contain tryptamines, right? Acacia maidenii is the one that gets mentioned most often...this is a DMT-bearer fer sure, and theres a few others that have tested positive for tryptamine content...but theres a LOT of Acacia's out there...and at least one that contains a poison. The name of the poison, or the species that contains it, escapes me now...I hope you know what you're looking for...

Yeah i know which ones they are they were a part of a council tree planting project, i rang the council and a week later i got told what they were. they are maidens wattle.

Simple A/B extraction will yield crude DMT, extend this to get crystals.
