Bruising and some questions

Hello. I'm a first time grower, I'm using MMGG and I have some questions.... When I cased my latest jar (I'm using the poor man's terrarium) there were small primordia and shrooms starting to grow already. They were pretty tight and I bruised some of my larger looking shrooms when I birthed the cake. My question is will bruising affect my shrooms or their potency or growth rate or anything in any way? What actually happens when mycelia/shrooms get bruised? Is it bad? One of my cakes is producing nothing but white fluffy mold. I cased it about a week ago. I read this is due to too much humidity. What should I do? I figure just taking off the cap on the 2 liter and leave it off untill something happens. Is this a good idea? If I have a contaminated jar, but it still grows shrooms, can I harvest the caps and use them to make spore prints? Will the spores and all that shit be contaminated? I was thinking of shoving the cake into some cow shit and letting nature take it's coarse ( letting spores go into a field). Would shrooms potentially grow there next year? Well, those are my questions. I would appreciate any input you have to offer. Thanks for reading! P.S. Avoid Shroom Wizard's GG!!!! trust me!

Bruising won't noticeably affect potency, but it may cause immature shrooms to abort. As a word of reference your not actually casing your cakes, your just birthing them into a terrarium. Casing would involve cutting/crumlbling a cake into another container and covering with a casing material i.e. verm\50/50\coir etc.

Bruising is caused by the alkaloids in the shrooms being oxidized, like rust on a iron pot. For the cake that is just fluffy, don't leave the lid off, it will cause the cake to dry out and die. Fan it out more often to keep humidity a little lower and give the mycelium more o2.

A spore print from a contaminated cake or casing also contains the spores of the contaminate mold or bacteria (if bacterial contam be the case) The spores of the mold get released into the air and they deposit themselves all over everything, shroom, cake, terrarium. If you get contamination you have to clean out everything to keep it from recurring.

If the cow pie stays moist and is in the shade, then it is likely that it will fruit in a few months, provided the pasture it is in has the proper growth environment. It is unlikely that shrooms will grow there by you spawning one dung patty. Spores don't just grow on the first cow pie they land on, they are actually deposited on the grass which cattle eat, and then they poo out the spores, usually the most viral of the strains. Then they germinate and grow. If there are not shrooms already growing in this pasteur, where cows frequent, then it will be unlikely that you can get them naturally introduced there. Its possible, but it takes alot of work.
