I am always looking for ambient music for when I'm writing or reading or whatever, but I'm tired of hearing endless shitty mass-produced techno with no feel to it. I'm a big fan of Orb and Orbital, and Deep Forest. My favorite DJ is Jr. Vasquez. Can anyone recomend some muic that is along those lines for me?

If you enjoy Ambient, you must goto www.shoutcast.com and select the Ambient radio stations...

There you'll find Cryosleep, Zero beat guaranteed.... The best Ambient radio imaginable... I listen to it frequently when I'm working on the computer...

You should try Chicane if you already haven't, hes amazing.. For great trance check out Rank 1, they are quite awesome.

I'm also a big fan of System F, Paul van Dyk, Astral Projection, Yahel...

I was listening to 'music has the right to children' last night, and it's fucking stunning. Not too keen on their new ep though.

Good to hear that someones on the same wavelength musically! Thanks for dropping some new names, i'm definitely gonna check them out. I've heard that theres a new BOC album on the way, anyone know anything about this?
