heard scotts 3n1 worked ok....found something called Black kow manure...just wondering if anyones ever tried it or have any input.....didnt say anything about fungicides....jus hate to buy 50lbs of useless shit  ....thankx

Where did you find it at??
I was looking at home depot and lowes for compost but the only one I found that wasn't poultry manure only had 10% cow manure in it. read, read, read the bag to see what it says whats in it, if it doesnt say a certain percentage I'd leave it alone(well you could use it on the rye youre trying to grow :P). I haven't seen the black kow manure stuff tho. I was looking for the 3n1 from Scotts but couldn't find that ish either. I found a place near me, not sure of how wide thier stores range, :::edited cause its only in my city::::::::::::::, sells dehydrated cow manure, 40lbs seven bucks. Cant go wrong with that!!

Found it at lowe's today...Doesn't say a %...I was pretty focused on finding % of what's what and it said Nothing....but nothing about fungicides or anything like that so i might try it out and see what happens...And 50lbs is a lot...it's not to pricey tho, so i might jus try it out..

Were the bags all frozen in bricks when you went to look for em??
I was meaning that when I went the whole pallet of bags was frozen solid.

What about this?
Organic Brands Mushroom Compost
Mushroom compost is not made from ground up mushrooms as you might think. It's the soil used to grow mushrooms. Since mushrooms are such a delicate crop, the soil is used only once. Then we compost and bag it for home gardeners. This rich, soil-building medium is perfect for vegetable and flower gardens, hanging baskets, shrubs and trees. Mushrooms already ate the good mushroom shit thats way its being sold for plants.

I scored some HMC not so very long ago...my first grow actually.
It's expensive...I will give it that much. Very nice compost, lotsa wood in it. I wouldn't be surprised if wood-lovers "would" dig it.
