i am new and i found some pint jars and some smaller ones but they are not wide mouth what jars do u use and how hard is it to get the mix out with the other jars??

If you are following the pf tek, (and you should for your first grow), you want wide mouth jars. The cake has to come out. You can substitute a drinking glass covered with foil in a pinch.

usually whenever you get jars you should get something like Kerr,Ball Widemouth tapered jars, just make sure whatever it is its tapered with no shoulder.

however if your capable and willing to case you could use those jars and just scoop out colonized substrate with a sterile spoon. :mushroom2: :mushroom2:

well i found the wide mouth bell jars 2 day at homeland for my first i think iam going to try a casing and some jars wish me luck thanks for the input
