wheat instead of rye

Howdi,

I'm had problems finding organic rye, but I did buy a bag of organic wheat.

Does anyone know the proportion of wheat to water to use in my jars? My guess is 1 cup wheat to 1 cup water, but I'm not sure. I don't want to make it too dry, nor to wet.

Also, are there any special tricks to using wheat?

With wheat the procedures are generaly the same as with rye.
1 cup to 1 cup could be very wet.
I use 100 g(app.130 ml) rye(wheat) and 105 g(ml) water. The amount of water can vary though from cultivator to cultivator. Run a test batch with different amounts of water(100, 105, 100, 115 ml) and choose the one with the most proper looking kernels. they should be moist, nearly wet at the beginning afer PC and shaking.
After a few days they look only moist.
