I'm over on the Sunshine Coast, there are a couple shroomerites on the Island but they've been quiet lately.

Welcome to the mushroom hunting forum, Oliver! Theres a few of you Islanders in here, but like max said, they've been kinda quiet lately, guess mushroom seasons been a bit slow up there this year. Things should pick up soon though, as the rainy season for your area is just around the corner.

I haven't been hunting much lately, as the weather hasn't been too accommodating....Rain has been sparse.
I imagine the little fellas are just itching to erupt. I can only hope. :)

I'm from parksville (mid island). So far I've only collected P. semilanceata (lib caps). Can anyone tell me of other species possibly growing near-by? Trade info on spots, etc..
