way to go.
give the cat some fun in its trivial-ass life
the cat has NO RESPONSIBILITIES... why not?
let it get fucked up as often as possible.
as long as it doesn't OD, it's cool.
now your cat should recognize the shroom smell and know what it does, so it can know whether it likes them (i know cats know what weed is, my friends cat snuck up on me and clawed my baggie one time)
if you were a housecat you would want to get ffffucked up
you PETA mutherfucker should chill out (i kid, i kid)

I hear it's irresponsible to let animals in nature eat mushrooms containing psiloc{yb}in. It will now forever be my mission to find every single field, every cap, every spore and monitor the native denizens to insure that none of said creatures indulge in psychedelics.
If they go near them, I will begin to put them in cages with 3 squares a day. An hour every day, I will let them out, raccoon and bear, worms and birds. If anything happens to them, they're just taking up my time and money, so why should I care?

According to the pharmacratic inquisition (I think) Reindeers will eat Amanita Muscaria until there are either no more mushrooms left or until they fall over in a trance, so I guess it does happen on occasions.

I personally don't find it "irresponsible"... what would be irresponsible is to disregard the fact that a cat weighs like 8lbs, and may have different sensitivities to the drugs we take. I wouldn't want any person to have a bad trip, and I feel the same about animals.
I gotta say that I've noticed 1,000 times more people participating in the irresponsible act of giving animals human foods, which is known to harm many animals. something to think about for the PETA types. :P

well, i seriously fed her like a half inch square of stem,
she had a good time, chased the mouse around my computer screen for awhile, then i put on media player and let her check out the trippy visuals, she stared at my lava lamp for awhile, layed down on the bed for about five minutes, got up and chased her tail for awhile, and then crawled under the bed for the rest of the night, but i know she was having a good time becuase she purred LOUD all night, like ive never been able to hear her purring across the room and under the bed before, she is noticably more mellow now though, the next day she just layed around quietly, it seemed like she was reflecting on things, ahh, enlightened kitty.

yeah, i think she had a good time, i left right after she ate, and when i came back focused on letting the cat have a good time, not that far off from babysitting human trippers really.

exactly. but who knows, if you do something to freak the cat out (like get it dizzy or throw stuff at it) it may have a bad trip. who knows what they like, or don't.
I'd love to hear a cat's philosophies on life while shrooming though. In order to talk to it though, i'd have to be on shrooms myself
