Germinate Already!!

I started some PF jars 2 weeks ago and still no mycelium. I have done this before with the same stuff and it only took a few days. What's happening??

Did you let the jars cool down completely before innoculating them? If not, you might have killed the spores...

Are the temp's good? Too high and the spores will die, too low and you're in for a LONG colonization period...

Yes, I did wait until the jars cooled. The temp is about 65-70. I used the PESA strain from The Hawks Eye. I tried this once before with the Tazmania but had problems with contamination. But the PESA is supposed to be a pretty fast colonizer. I really want this to work out for me. I can't wait to experience the mushroom's magic. Please help!

Id have to agree - sometimes they dont like germinating quickly... If you gett'em nice and hot, they might change their minds...

Try to keep them around 82 degrees for optimum performance!

they said it all. Optimal temp is 80-85 so you need to up the temp. It took me that long for my jars to start colonizing too.
