white chalky residue

When I boil my syriges they have a white chalky residue all over them. I used the same water for the spores
do I need to worry about this???
It also happens when I boil my jars.
whats up???

You've got hard water. Try rinsing/adding a little white vinegar.

Yeah, you just boiled your syringes in hard water. No big deal. AFOAF does it all the time and she never has problems.

The syringes are still good and sterile so go use them!
