I do not know anything about shrooms except that they are highly expensive to purchase. I am thinking about growing my own, but i do have a lot of questions.
Question #1. Jar Method. 1. Get a Jar, Pressure cook it or (clean it with bleach?) 2. Get Brown Rice/Straws soak them in water, place in jar. 3. Get a spore, lay it down on a cap, let seeds fall out. 4. Mix the seeds in the rice/straw combination. 5. Seal it tight so no germs can get in.
Question #2. Find and plant method. 1. Find a family of shrooms, identify that they are not poisonous. 2. Dig it up, plant it in backyard.
Will any of those methods work? Am i missing anything? Any help will be appreciated because i do not know anything about planting these guys!

Yes, you are missing the fact that you are in the wrong section of the board. See Mushroom Cultivation. And also there is a FAQ section you should read several times. Read a lot... then read a lot more...
You could then post an intelligent question.
Take Care.

My apologies if I was too abrupt. Consider this forum a learning experience.
You just walked into English class and said... So I take 3 apples, Add 2 oranges... Now that I have a bunch of Bananas... I can drive a car... Right?
You'll be fine with a little reasearch first. Welcome to our world
