his bachman stuff is ok but its sort of rougher in my opinion, like you could tell that he didnt have much experiance when he was writing them. Ive read Desperation a king book, and The Regulators a Bachman book.

They are essentially the same story. Same Characters(well at least the names are the same, the PEOPLE on the other hand are very different), Same Villian(sort of), but different settings.

regulators is in a suburban midwestern town, and the other is set in Desperation Nevada.

Desperation is FAR better. He wrote the one at the begginning of his career and never published it, then i guess in the 90's he got it out and rewrote a different version of it. Then put them both out. Its weird, but of course so is King.

There is a Bachman book that is about a kid in HS who murders his classmates. This was far before Columbine, and after Columbine he took it out of print. Ive never read it, and i cant remember the name, but ive heard its a pretty good book.

that book was called "Rage", and it is one of my favorites

I think you can still get it in the compilation called "The Bachman Books", along with other novellas like "The Long Walk" and "The Running Man"

I dont know if they still print that compilation, but you can probably find it at a used bookstore somewhere.
