The Tosca Tango Orchestra
    #3703105 - 01/30/05 06:58 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I was watching Waking Life for like the bizillionth time yesterday and decided to find out who did the soundtrack. Well, the composers name is Glover Gill, apparently an accordian player/ composer, and the band that did it was the Tosca Tango Orchestra, im not sure if there is any affiliation with the Tosca Strings, but this music kicks ass. Very chill and cinematic at the same time, im definatly listening to this the next time i trip.

Okay, I don't know how long ago you posted this but, I definately agree with you. I was going to post a topic but did a quick search.

I want to go look for the cd but I don't know where I could find it...Can't find all on the net but the sountrack I think has a lot of soul and leading power that would be amazing to listen to on an upcoming trip :psychsplit:

It can be a bit on the sad side though.

I own the soundtrack and listen to it often, while reading in the tub, or studying.

Man I think I need to understand the beginning of that movie... It's always the most boring part for me because I don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

The Fountain has an amazing soundtrack also. Clint Mansell is
a genius.

--------------------
Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time
