goddamn housing developments
    #3699639 - 01/29/05 07:14 PM (19 years, 2 months ago)

The other day i was out for a jog near some trails by my house, and as i turned a corner, i see a big pile of chopped up trees and where there was once a lush green forestland, there is now a future housing development. This place was one of my favorite places to run and bike, and i have been going to this place ever since i moved here awhile back. but not only was there a forest, there also was a sweet bike circuit that was awsome to go on. Now its all gone, and some rich fuck is gunna move in and they're gunna build roads and just fuck everything up. Im pissed.

if you live in a housing development (in the forest), i hope you realise that not long ago that was probably a pretty cool place to run bike and hike, so congrats, im glad you made this country that much shitter.

oh yeah, and if your a housing developer little shit, fuck you.

---sorry, im so worked up i put this post in the wrong forum, i meant to put it in Activism/Politics/whatever. sorry---

I can relate. My favorite place to go as a kid is now about half the acreage and hemmed in on three sides by apartment complexes. The burbs just suck all the character out of the land as they sprawl out, eating up all the mysterious lonely places full of stones and trees and leaving behind a vapid gridwork of trimmed lawns and annuals.

So what your saying is that i need to scare them out of the forest by blowing up their tractors? That could be done. Thanks for the suggestion.

I said what I said.
However, i could always say more.

"running away, from no one, leave you chasing, your own ghost." (literally?)
-Unknown:P

"change what your changing, and leave the rest for other.."
-Unknown:P

but if your looking for other sense? would this 'help'?

if someone spat at you intending on spitting to the left of you, and you moved. and got hit. did the spit-er miss, hitting, and did you hit the missing? :P

moving anger around, compares to transporting a flame, its feeding on whatever makes it burn.

Keeping 'it' alive, is what eventually kills it..

maybe I'm suggesting something like, stop throwing gasoline on the fire, go enjoy the changes, adapt!?
But since this is a suggestion, i pass out side of "me", I got no reason for saying that what so ever, now do I? so i said it..

I wasent really going to blow up all of their tractors, i was just joking, and im not making fun of your quote. It wasent public property anyway, so if they want houses, they can build there if they want. Im just saying thats one less place on a shrinking list of places that i have to run/bike.

Besides, im sure you can relate to what im saying somehow, cant you? I'm sure just about everybody here has a favorite place to do their certin outdoor activities, and how would you feel if they decided to turn it into a housing development?

Your quotes are cool, abit hard to decifer sometimes, but still fun to read. It takes a great mind to come up with stuff like that. I swear i wasent making fun of you!

""Im just saying thats one less place on a shrinking list of places that i have to run/bike.""

and I'm just saying, its as much a new place, for you to do something else. :P I.E. maybe a nice girl moves in in one of them houses? you lay on a warm floor making love some day, and in the very same spot you rode your bike in the past? awesome! hehehe.

""Besides, im sure you can relate to what im saying somehow, cant you?""

yes, i lived in "wood land" all my life. and those fuckers, came whit a stupid[laughter], kindergarden, so not only did i loose my play ground, which was a bike circuit, this giant climbing tree,(which they pruned, like a slaughter 'pruned' a pig', anyways)
Kids half my age occupied the conquered land. id say, rather i lost and found others, than stick whit the one. so being forced to move, as everything. Came as a gift from Dreams. a true blessing

""Your quotes are cool""

yes, and no.
My quotes are my quotes, as far as this context reach, you are the one making them cool, and i should be thanking you!?

Thank you! and I swear i wasn't making fun of you either! (?) :P

housing developments are great, they provide the perfect fruiting environment for many magic mushrooms around Atlanta and up in Seattle :mushroom2: .....

Although- I've seen way too many natural paradises steamrolled to say the benefits outweigh the negatives
