Sympathy anyone?

I don't want to make a big stink or anything, but I've been reading a bunch of teks and posts and realized that I've been dicked by the infamous "Keeper". Charged way too much for his kits, takes forever to answer emails or even calls. I paid in total 900CDN for the "MGK" kit plus a bunch of other stuff like extra TITs, "The Little Wonder" (a humidifying device), when I could of went to wal mart and bought all that stuff for a fraction of 900 dollars. The 2 doz premade substrate jars i got with the kit got took over by GREEN half way, lost both Creepers and Z strain (1 doz each). So i finally got down and made PF jars my damn self, tho he was nice enough to finally answer my emails and send me another syringe of a "yosterizii" strain. I still have NO idea what or where this strain came from, but i finally got it to colonize the jars I made.
I have around 6 jars sitting in my fruiting chamber and still I dont feel that this is fair considering the amount of money i spent. He has promised to send me another syringe like 2 weeks ago, I have tried to email this guy for quite some many times now and still ZERO reponse. I just felt like letting some steam out. The more i learn on SHroomery, the more i feel like i got pissed on the head and told that its raining.
So, any of you sponsors can send me some spores from within canada? I dont have much money left, maybe you can cut me a deal or something? i need all the help i can get...
Thanks

Just one more reason to buy from the sponsors on this site. Ralphster ships from within Canada, and I am sure his prices are affordable.

A lot of people knock the "Mushroom Kit Industry", saying it isnt worth the money and that you could easily build the stuff yourself, which is true for some. Now I dont work for the Keeper or anything and have had a nightmare experience with him myself when I first started, however, there are some good mushroom kits out there floating around. I will refrain from naming specifics b/c none of them are sponsors here, but they are out there. Ralphsters is a great company and he would most definitely hook you up. Sorry to hear about your loss my frind.

People find these guys before the shroomery 90% of the time through search engines If we could get the people to the shroomery first before they place an order dumb things like that wont happen well id say it would cut down buy 60% or so IMO

The Keeper...aka Shane That name brings back memories!~
He is a crook.
He would sell his own Mother if there was a profit in it for him to be made!~
I spred his Keepers Creeper's spores around the shroomery years ago...for everyone to enjoy. That really pissed him off...lolzzz
His Z strain is the same as the GT strain...he just renamed it to his own liking. He is a liar and a cheat.

I typed in the word "shrooms" in a search engine and The Shroomery was at the top of the list out of 37,210 possible matches. That's pretty amazing. I can't imagine not having found this place.

Sorry to learn of your bad xperience. I created the Yosterizii Ps.Cubensis Ecuadorian Var.Yosterizii it as a very noticeable wood grain and linear line on the cap some w/out annulus
I got about 3 year in to it, and it is a repeating flusher (if you keep your incubator free from parasite you will get a flush every 2 weeks for about 6 month, this strain does not require a casing but is a must for repeated flush (I usually lay perlite at the bottom"2 inch" and ad "1 inch" of water that is pre-sterilize, lay a 1/4 inch of colonize grain over it and then cover w/"1 inch" of peat moss .(The peat moss is water to the point were only a few drop of water is running between my finger and then sterilize.) Be aware as 0.4 of a g. put me in to trance, For all of you out there:) I don't know how the Keeper got it but it is MY creation and since i have 3 years + into it i tough it would be nice to name it my self( well my wife told me so,she also said i could type this LOL;) If it wasn't for my wife i wouldn't probably got this far. but all i can tell you is ,grow this precious on rye grain than apply a casing layer over it of about 1" keep it clean and it will reward you by processing ALL of the rye grain(i usually lay a layer of 1" of colonize grain over 1 inch of pear lite than case w/ 1" of sterilize vermiculite of peat moss) Oh i almost forgot I LOVE TRADING SPORE and for you yoshikuni contact me and ill give it to you free hihihi;) all other well... ...you'll just have to buy it or trade me:( sorry but I'm pretty poor and lab equipment cost a lot:( P.s.s Yess I AM CANADIAN,CANABIAN,CASHROOMIAN.hihihi Peace and stay warm ,its cold here in Ontario

Do you have any pics of the "Yosterizii?" I would love to check 'em out. Is it an isolate of an EQ inoculation? If so, how would a print pass on the qualities of an isolated strain? I'm just curious and would love to hear more about your work with this strain.
Anywho...the first time I heard of Mr. Keeper was from a radio ad that aired during Howard Stern one morning. It kind of caught me by surprise. This was the first and only time I have heard of spores being advertised on the radio. I went to his website and sure enough there were the highest priced spore syringes I had ever seen ($50-$100 each)! The strain names were mostly unheard of and not pertaining to region of origin as most are. I never returned. About a year later I started seeing other spore sellers advertising his kreepers, which are the most well known, and later, the Z strain. Anyone else hear his radio bit? I wish I had a recording of it. It was priceless.

2nd time tonight I typed up a really long reply and got an error page when i hit the "continue" button, my computer sucks. Anyway I'll sumarize my long ass post.
1) my friend bought a kit, screwed it up, I got interested in the hobby after eating some of his shrooms.
2) I almost got ripped off, but I found the shroomery.God I love the shroomery
3) Kit sellers get like 800% profit, so they get the attention of people getting interested in the hoby, because they can afford the hightimes and radio advertisments.
I would like to take this time to thank all the sponsors on this site for not ripping people off.
4) you need to have at least a basic understanding of how shrooms grow or your bound to screw up somehow. Kits don't teach you crap, so you don't know crap, and will end up screwing it up.
-------------------- And I said, I don't care if they lay me off either, because I told, I told Bill that if they move my desk one more time, then, then I'm, I'm quitting, I'm going to quit. And, and I told Don too, because they've moved my desk ...four times already this year and I used to be over by the window and I could see the squirrels, and they were merry, but then, they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and its not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire.

I think he got it from tripple helix, not a bad kit, came w/ like 48 jars and 4 syringes. Problem is he injected 4 syringes into 4 jars. Not a smart person. He gave up after that.
