Disclosure of Death
    #3698931 - 01/29/05 05:37 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

Recently I put my house in California for sale. One of the disclosure items is "Did anyone die in the house in the last three years?"

Does this mean that ghosts exist? What else would explain the concern?

No, that means that some customers might be concerned of that, and it would be harder to sell

Do ghosts go away after three years? Try using a can of Ghost-B-Gone to keep pesky spirits away.

"Ghost-B-Gone"

Great product idea. Better get the trademark before someone else does.

"some customers might be concerned of that"

OK, why?

I once had a very nice black leather couth that some whacked out old man had died on after nailing his windows shut in the middle of the summer (he was scared of theives, and had no air conditioner). My father had bought the house and remodeled it and subsequently sold it for profit. The couch was properly cleaned and it did not stink. I neglected to tell my wife the story behind it until the day we got rid of it as I could not afford to buy a new couch. My wife would not have stayed in the apartment with it had she known. I worked nights so she was alone in there on that couch a lot. There were no incidents of ghostly presences in the apartment during that time. The house it came out of is another story. A couple of relatives I new who slept in the upstairs bedroom claimed to hear voices and would not stay there again. I will not vouch for their credibility as I never stayed there myself.

A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda
