Whats the actual classification of these?
Since mushys are gonna be illegal in england soon (I`m stocking up now) might we be able to get round the law with the truffles?

Doubt it... but Philosopher's stones are technically sclerotia. They are not mushrooms, but they are fungal nugs that make you trip.

Some herbal stores sell them legally here in Australia because technically they aren't mushrooms but truffles. Of course they keep them behind the counter as they don't want to draw attention to them and so only those in the know (or have become good with the shop owners) can buy them. Bad thing is they're bloody expensive.

unfortunatly most laws prohibit the active ingredients in mushies, psilosybin, philocin, ect. it dosent matter what form they come in, but that how it is over in the us i'm not sure in your situation.

Well, the current law is theyre legal to grow, legal to own, legal to eat but are illegal if theyre dryed or cooked (prepared) in any way, but soon they banning them outright.... But it looks as though mushrooms will be the keyword in the ban and not psilocybin.

Might be lucky, might not heh.

I think it specifies any fungus containing psiloc(yb)in, so that would include truffles, sadly :frown: .  I'm not totally sure though.
