Help! Please

I just birthed 3 cakes. I woke up and they are very dry and no more pins were there. I did leave the damn fan on high right by them to keep the temp down. That probably dried them out.
My humidification setup:
I measured out 3/4th of an inch of water in my terrarium, it turned out to be 9 cups of water. I poured in about 2 inches of perlite, and put 9 cups of water on it. Should I put more water in or what?

Try setting them directltly on the perlite for a few days.

I did have the cakes on the perlite, but the lid was open all night with the fan on. I forgot to get the hydro meter yesterday but I am today. For now I sprayed a bunch of water in, and put the cakes back in with the lid closed. Later I will check the humidity.

They should recover just fine as long as you keep that perlite damp. (not swamped)

submerse them in water for 24 hours, then dab gently with a paper towel and set them back the terrarium. I`ve always had another nice flush or two from doing that
