Premature Sporulation

AFOAF is finally seeing fruits on his Hawk EQ rye spawned compost!
But they are short, fat and breaking the veil quite early...
Some are curling upward at the edges of the caps.

He is running constant 72 degrees temp
He has a grow n show flourescent running 11/13on
He is fanning twice a day...

What is he doing wrong???

But wait, you're doing all of that, except for painting the inside of the terrarium black. I doubt that would help those fat asses of your "friend's"...

Sounds to me like you're doing everything ok. I don't know what the problemo could be. Hopefully an expert will reply.

Sometimes its all just shitty genetics. Maybe try letting them get some natural light durning your regular lighting schedule, maybe just a couple of hours.
