alright, i am gonna use penningtons finch food as the nutrient in my substrate, however i do not know if i am getting the right kind. the brand sold at the local walmart is penningtons but the only kind they have is the premium finch food. the package says the seed is coated with essential vitamins and minerals. i firgure i would just boil this coating off when preparing the sub. so no big deal right? should i use this stuff or will it fuck up the shrooms?

Psilocyber, how big should that hole be? I'm curious to try this out myself.

well the premium finch food seems to contain large amounts of red millet, millet, and thistle. though the packaging says it contains crushed sun flower seeds. is it alright if there is a small amount of minced sunflower seed in the subs? screw it i'll just go find some plain millet and experiment with this stuff.
