Tripping pets (dont worry PETA)
    #3690484 - 01/27/05 10:10 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I was wondering what would happen if you gave a dog some mushies. Has anyone here ever had their dog accidentally get into their stash?
I havent done this, nor would i try to, i was just wondering, so if you are on your PETA high horse, dont start bitching at me.

there have been a bunch of posts asking this same thing

feeding an animal drugs would scare the fuck out of them, and i doubt a dog would eat dried up mushrooms, let alone open the drawer, open the jar, and eat them

My dog would, but hasn't.

I would never feed my dog drugs... maybe let him inhale a bit of MJ but that's it.

I don't think I'd give my dog shrooms, but I get my dog and cats high all the time. My Boyfriend's friend gave his cat lsd and well, it has never been the same. It's okay its just crazy. She darts and hides all the time.

why wasted Acid on an animal plus i think that is kinda messed up since it is involuntary and i don't believe in giving people drugs with out their consent. but the answer is yes the animal would get fucked up they test many substances on rats to determine LDs and stuff.

and i don't know what kind of dogs you have been around but all the dogs i know would eat anything at all

i know that horses that eat morning glory plants become INSANE. I saw my best friends blue ribbon stallion turn into the most freaked out horse ever. he couldnt be ridden, approached, and eventually died because it wouldnt eat and they had to put it down. (they killed it like 3 weeks after it happened)

NO we didnt feed the horse the morning glory plant, there was a large patch of it found on the edge of one of the fields it used to graze on.

I dont know how much it ate, but it must have been a lot for that shit to happen.

I work at an animal hospital, and we had a case just like that where a pet got into poorly hidden shooms....he got very sick, went toxic and died on us.  I've had friends that would blow smoke in their pets face, and although it's about as good for them as it is for us, if they were to actually eat it (like a stash) they would go into seizure and die...personally I find dosing a pet is like dosing an unsuspecting friend...not cool.  Thats just my opinion.  Save the good stuff for your own enlightenment.  It's precious. :hippie:

I saw a guy feed his dog a piece of meat with a fat cap in it. the dog brushed the meat aside and ate the cap.

I've seen a stoned cat before  . Was quite funny.
The cat in question really likes MJ smoke so whenever the houseowner breaks out the bong the cat comes and sits beside him and breathes in all the smoke - it makes a deliberate effort to do so, so it must enjoy it :yesnod: . It staggered around etc, with a silly facial expression  .

I don't think it is completely immoral to dose an animal, but people often forget how much lower an animals tolerance to drugs is. I would worry about giving my animal shrooms, but I know a person who has fed his dog shrooms many times and his dog loves them. I don't think I would smoke up my animal, because I would worry that his system would be more damaged by the smoke than mine would. I would give him a small lump of cannabutter though. I think he would love it.

Ive seen this dog that makes a little sneeze everytime he hits it. Its cute LOL. This dogs owner didnt want him to get high when he was a pup. We were hanging at his house one night just smoking out and there is this 1/4th of dank bud sitting on the couch. I turn my head and see the pup just going to town like the herb was sesame ckicked and fried rice. He eats it all but for a gram, which I had to wrestle out of his mouth. I never say anything about it to the pups owner. The funny thing is no one noticed the missing bud? Damn dirty stoners.

one day i was picking shrooms at my moms house(she has cows)and at the time she had a pig in a pen waiting for his invite to the hog roast.i decided to see if the hog liked shrooms so i threw it some and it ate them as fast as i could throw them in.this pig ate a lot of shrooms and laid down and became very quiet .before that he was sqealing and walking around making pig noises.i'm sure he tripped his balls off.
this stripper i once dated had a boston terrier that was burnt out from all kinds of drugs.if you started smoking weed, he would jump in your lap and try to lick at the smoke.he got so bad we started putting him outside or in a bedroom when we smoked and that fucker would howl like someone took him away from its mother.she gave it some shroom tea once and he lapped it all up.he was running all over the house ,jumping on and off the couches, running up and down the hall wide open.he was trippin us out.we laughed till it hurt.he really enjoyed getting fucked up.damn i miss that dog.

Why not start of giving an animal a baseline dose like half a stem or something and if they like and come back for more keep uping the dose.

Giving an animal psychedelic drugs at all is just an awful idea. The animal has no choice in what they're getting.

And you have absolutely no idea what a standard dose would be for an entirely different organism than yourself.

That's a pretty vague measurement.
