Does barometric pressure effect pinning?
    #3688915 - 01/27/05 04:28 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I was thinking in terms of lowering a fruiting container's air pressure to simulate a drop in barometric pressure(along with spraying) to simulate a rainstorm effect..

Does anyone know if dropping the air pressure will help with pinning?

that's a valid question... so many things are sensitive to pressure drops, my knee being one of those things. Although, if it did have an effect, I think it would be minimal and not worth the effort to reproduce said pressure drop. And then you have to consider all the folks who keep their grow chambers at positive pressure to keep bugs out. That's a pressure increase, yet it doesn't seem to affect fruiting ability.

still, might be worth a test. be sure to do a side by side comparison if you do it.
