Invirto-Poo-Corn

I'm letting my poo pint go invirto...should I expect a yeild that is atleast somewhat worth it? I have lots of contam. problems, typically when I case or use cakes, well more so casings than cakes. Anyways, it's been kind of a nusicance so now i'm growing my poo invirto, outside, in a ziplock bag(in case it rains), and i didn't zip up the bag, so less chance of contams and plently of o2.

My Q is about my corn, can I do the same with it? I've heard that you shouldn't case directly from them, well fruit directly from them, so, what should I try and do, i was thinking of mixing it with uncolonized wbs and then putting that back in the jars and then letting it colonize and then fruit invirto like that, whatcha guys think?

Thankx

-Gnostic

Green mold is stubborn you will never get rid of those spores in your house. It was there before you started and it will be there long after you have left and are living somewhere else. Where also the greens live...

A little cleaning of the tit and tubs now and then is good, but short after you finished there are enemies back in there, lurking for an opportunity...

Outside is no option here, as it is snowing now...

In my fruiting chamber no contams though, so far only a little bacterial blotch due to water on some of the caps. And when well soaked and PC-ed, a good breathing hole applied, a carefull inoc etc etc, contams dont have much of a chance...
Always the not 100% jars which get contammed here... Survival of the fittest!

Good luck!

MF

i am not completely understanding
is it the substrate outdoors in an unzipped ziplock bag?
if so; it's not in-vitro...
if it's a jar outside in a ziplock bag take care to assure proper temps are being maintained...
i'm not sure where you are, but where I am it is freezing.
expect smaller yields if any at all,
nutritious substrates like poo are best utilized with a casing layer and lots of room to spread out.

Muse- True, but like I said, I'm cleaning everything as of now.

And it's a jar in a ziplock bag, its just to keep water out and dust from falling directly onto the jar, its open open facing the ground so it get's o2/co2 exchange, and soon i'll be casing poo again

And i'm very sterile, im thinking the green meanies were in my bag of wbs, cuz so far, thats all that contamed, everything from that bag, sucks but w/e.
