Trip forever? or not?
    #3646935 - 01/19/05 01:06 AM (19 years, 2 months ago)

I often wonder what life would begin to be like if could maintain a steady functioning trip for the rest of my life.... Somewhere like a lvl 2-3 trip. If you had to decide to either trip for the rest of your living life or never trip again at all, which would you choose?
which one?
You may choose only one

I couldn't see myself living life on an endless trip.
I would prefer to never trip again if that was the case.
I think everyone should trip once, one time is enough if done wisely.

I'd have to go with never myself. I'd rather focus on meditation, yoga, tai chi, being in the woods interacting with plants and animals and paying attention to myself as methods to alter my state of awareness than be on a mushroom trip for the rest of my life. Although, since trips don't last lifetimes but rather, only 6 hours or so, they combine well with the other methods listed above.

those are the only two options? well, as many times ive said id like to never come down during my trips, i am still glad i come down when i do. usually. i dont think id enjoy tripping for the rest of my life, as much as i might think i might while under the influence.

I'm on a life trip.

It's called life. What is more of a trip than "reality"?

I say it during every trip..."I wish this would never end!" I can function fairly well once I hit my peak, and I get used to all the things happening. It just leaves me with a child-like wonder concerning everything.

Permanent trip = schizophrenia. I'll choose never tripping again. We need sobriety in order to integrate what we've learned from our trips.

I might be willing to be in a level 2 trip for the rest of my life if I didnt have to be a functional citizen and make money in a substandard working environment. Unless I was an accomplished artists, thers no way I could do anything produtive while tripping.

Hmm, I put never again. But that's just in a realistic sense. Ideally, I'd have a life where I could spend the rest of it tripping. That'd be great. But would I get used to it? Would it be not nearly as amazing? At least I could spend time in my new sober life reflecting on amazing trips. Might forget what they even had to offer if it never wore off.
