Loose Substrate
    #3687806 - 01/27/05 11:01 AM (13 years, 2 months ago)

Should the substrate in a grow bag be compressed or lose after the substrate has been kneaded to spread the colonization process?(I just kneaded mine after seeing some mycelium growth???)

Another thing.....just my newbie observation.....would it be good to have a grow bag tek????? Would cut down FAQ on the manner(probably like mine )!!!!

“I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.”

if you knead them you more or less 'break' the grains apart,
so they will be loosely in the bag.

after some days, the mycelium will grow though them again, making them
hold eatchother together with the live mycelium.
