how long have you been trying to initiate pinning? my cat says that it can take 2 weeks in some cases.

been in there 7 days i think maybe more,,, u think i got overlay i looked at it this moring seen lots of white knots every where but u might not be able to tell from pic not sure

There is definitely no overlay there, it looks optimal for seven day! WTG!!! You want the casing colonized by the time the transition from vegetative growth to generative growth has occured if timed perfectly Also keeping that casing at near saturation through several very fine mistings rather than one or two heavier mistings which BTW would not only possibly cause "panning" of the casing surface but also increase aborts, will increase pinset and the number of shrooms brought to maturity. GL

thanks guys this my 2nd caseing first one lost to green mold but what i have learned by my pf cakes is I will never do pf cakes again I had 5 cakes total only 40 grams fresh which sucked so now on i just stick with rye and 60/40 caseing and yes look like little white nerds candy lol Man i can't wait to see what my caseing brings fourth
