lists the fiscal health of a bunch of countries? For example, this list should include GDP, total debt, percentage of GDP that the debt is, etc..etc...
Basically, I am trying to find the countries that are the most fiscally stable. Whether these countries offer tons of services and tax the hell out of their citizens, or if they offer practically no services and they don't tax their citizens that much, it doesn't matter.
I am a U.S. citizen. Call me an alarmist, but I do not see things getting better in this country as far as the fiscal situation goes. I see the government getting deeper in debt. I see the citizenry getting deeper in debt. I see the trade deficit continuing to balloon while we buy more stuff than we produce. I see oil(the lifeblood of our economy) getting more scarce and expensive and thus severely impacting our economy and our standard of living. All of this is a recipe for an economic disaster. I am really thinking of getting some money together and exiting this country before the shit hits the fan. Granted, I think it will hit the fan in 30 years or so, but the time between now and those 30 years will witness the dollar falling sharply in value in my opinion. I want to get my assets out of dollars before it gets any worse.
I am serious about this! I would appreciate any informed replies that will give me some good information.
I say all of us P,A, & L' ers should buy an island together. We could argue and yell at each other all day! We could decide whether we wanted a socialist or capitalist society once we got there.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for and it's from a couple of years ago (2003 fiscal year) but here you go.

That doesn't seem to give you a very good idea of the economic climate, the numbers seem to be all over the place.

Iceland has those great volcanic springs. And Bjork. But I myself would vote for a warm one. Maybe Pitcairn. We could probably totally take it over from those child molesting, inbred fucks in a matter of days.

Those are indeed surprising results, I would not have guessed any of those countries are where they are.
I noticed they don't have Iraq on there too.
