Pressure cooker probs

I did some PF jars last night and sterilised them in my pressure cooker. It can take 8 jars in two levels of 4.

When They had cooled I noticed that some of the jars were much heavier and wetter than the others. The lighter ones seem way too light. It seems that some jars have taken in water whereas other have lost some.

I used taped holes, loose lids covered with foil.

How can i avoid this happening again?

Tighten your lids, the steam is getting inside and screwing up your water ratio.

Or else you had too much water in your pc and it boiled over and into the lower jars.
