Ok: Possible spoilers so do not look if you dont want to know the ending. I am here to discuss theroys of the ending. What I think
Mark returned to earth to find it in control by the Apres. General whats-his-face was the Abe statue now. Mark travelling into the future the first go round and what happend on the planet gave the Apes the technology to travel back into time and rule earth? What do you think. I didnt explane that very clear but maby you will get the point.

Marky Mark (and viewers) figured the future would either be ape free or apes and humans living together in peace but....WAS WRONG!....BUM BUM BUM!
no its assumed that the apes took over the humans not long after he left. Perfect for.....another REMAKE!....BUM BUM BUM!

I would've liked it less if I hadn't WANTED to like it so much. I love tim burton, and I was really looking forward to it. I was dissapointed, though. whatever. I hope tim burton starts making GOOD movies again.

it was none of those! he went back to his time, therefor nothing would have changed! He went through a worm hole into another dimension, My cousin, who is 22, is oppsessed with movies and tim burton, soo he knew double! If u think about it, what u guys are saying doesn't make since! He went back to the time he left, soo the apes wouldn't have taken over yet. And of course their going to make tons more!!! it did too well not too

I sat next to the girl who played marky mark's girlfriends in the movie. She looked all coked out.

i don't think I've ever laughed as hard as I did when I saw this movie, and Marky Mark comes back to earth and goes into the lincoln memorial *BOOM* there's abe, only there is an ape head on top of his shoulders. It is a total joke, and the only saving grace in this crappy movie is that Tim Burton is willing to make fun of himself.
