Hydrating the inside?

I have a terrarium with 10 lbs of DB dung in it colonized with Thai Lipa Yai mycelium...I was have my first flush...picked some for a trip, came back noticed the unpicked shrooms grew a little more, but not much more, and for the next 5 days they barely grew at all, i'm talking about from baby to old teenage shrooms...I didn't have any to live to adult age. My humidity hasn't been too low or too high...I picked all the shrooms that stopped growing so now i'm hoping for new pins to pop up......
an idea I had...
can I/should I inject sterile water into the mycelium mass or jab a straw in and put water in the straw...to rehydrate the inside to help with fruiting?
