Just got finished innoculating 16 jars 10 austrasilian 6 pf,
I'm planning on trying the invitro/neglect tek. Any time frames would help, time to colonization, pin formation etc? Also, I have a syringe each of indian, malaysian and mazatec. Will any of these do well invitro?

I doing this tek as a back up to my bulk straw method. The last run produced a shit load of inky caps, a contam from ill pasturazation of the straw. Bummer huh? All 9 ft, of my growing area was filled w/ damn inky caos.

Less than a week once the pins form and they get plenty of fresh air and the humidity is right. Pretty much all cubies work invitro. However some seem to need a cold shocking. Peace

how do they get plenty of fresh air if they're invitro?? do you mean by flipping the jars over? and how is the humidity supposed to be controlled in jars? if cold shocking is a good idea, when should it be done?

I take the lid off and blow into the jar. Sometimes I fan. I also keep an eye on the condensation on the sides of the jar( Quart). Whenevr it seems dry I spray> Peace

I was reading somewhere, Sorry to I'm taking this from, I can't remember. Anyway take a paper towel and wet with h2o2 and place over three of the holes on the lid. Take a drinking straw or something, and suck the air out of the 4th hole. Suck until you cant taste the co2 from the jars anylonger. Every few days I think was the rate.....Thats what I plan on trying, I'll post when I get there.
