3M will be hard to find

As some of you may have noticed I have been unusually silent for several weeks and have been slow getting back on emails. First of all, to all the folks that where worried that my health problems had returned, thanks for the concern but I am fine now.
Now for the meat of this post. As some of you know I am a practicing witch. My coven recently went public by registering for non profit status and opening our meetings to the public. As we expected there was some public backlash from certain christian fundementalist groups including several threats of firebombings.
We didn't take it very seriously until my lab was hit with a molotov cocktail. It was written up in the local paper as being a fire in an outbuilding but my lab was destroyed and the words "Burn witch burn" were scrawled on the wall. Needless to say, I have moved my family and am building a new lab and mushroom house in a nearby community where the folks are a lot more tolerent.
I have been using my portable hood to make syringes and am keeping up on orders. However my computer was damaged in the fire and I had to send the hard drive away to have the data recovered.
I am now living in a camper trailer while I get my new lab and mushroom house built. The phone lines and the hydro won't be hooked up until the end of the month(awww the joys of buying raw land in a rural area)
On the upside, I am close enough to my old address that I don't have to change them. I have been working at getting my website moved to a new server with a whole new design to the website(yes I got a pro to do it...I hired a 15 year old kid LOL) I will be announcing it when it is ready and there will be lots of giveaways as well as a new section of glassware and supplies.
They say that bad luck comes in 3's. I am really prepared to duck when the third thing hits.

LOL well I am more of a direct kind of guy. If revenge is in the books I will be the one to do it, but as it stands, no one has taken credit for it yet. Besides, it would just add fuel to the fire to go after the guy that did it. As it stands right now a lot of religious people have backed off with a few condemning the zealot's actions so perhaps this can be turned into a good thing afterall.
Besides, this was the push that got me out of an anal retentive, conservative town and into a much more relaxed community with a lot of like minded friends.

I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe it was just time to move on.

Wow, that really sucks. Damn ignorant people, why are people so irritating.... I guess ignorance is bliss!

I have a friend who's a practicing warlock in Australia, needless to say a lot of his so called friends stopped being his friend after he became one... Really sad to see such ignorance.

I wish you all the best 3m, I know you'll turn out just fine, just don't let those zealots get to you.

I'm guessing you won't be able to make it to the gathering this month :wink:

That's REALLY fucked up! How could people who practice a religion about loving your neighbor do something like that just because you're different?!?!? If someone in your group did that to one of them all hell would break loose. That totally fucked! BTW i'm very sorry to hear what happened.

Damn that really pisses me off. I am also a practicing witch and I've gotten shit from all over. I've been threatened with getting my ass kicked and getting killed. All by crazy ass fucking bullshit christians. I can't say all christians are bad 'cuz I know a few that are tolerant and they respect my veiws, but so many more are so violent about it. It pisses me off so much that people are such ignorant bastards. AAAAHHHHH!

Looks like I need to meditate. I've had a bad day, and it was hot as hell out.

It really sucks that your family was put into that situation. It sucks the lab is gone but I'm glad you and your family are OK. Posessions can be replaced, but people can't be. I can't beleive they killed the mushrooms. Thats just wrong. I send my condolences and hope you get back on your feet soon.

Sorry to hear about the ignorance. Sounds like you needed to move on to a better life and it took the ignorance to do it unfortunatly.
