Police Find Hallucinogenic Mushrooms
January 18, 2005
Blackfoot and Bingham County deputies had a rather unusual drug bust on Monday night.
They had a search warrant for a house on Dewey Street, and ended up charging 11 people with drug violations.
Here?s the unusual part. Inside the home they found an assault rifle, marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms. The street value is about $600 dollars for the mushrooms. Deputies are careful not to handle them because the toxins could absorb through the skin.
Eight people were cited and released for frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
Salvador Escreno was cited for marijuana possession.
Scott Anderson and Benito Lucio were also arrested.
Anderson was arrested for possession of marijuana and Lucio was busted for trafficking and possession with intent to deliver.

You would think, if these people have to enforce these stupid laws, you would think they would take a little effort and learn just a little about what they are trying to control... then again, maybe their ignorance is a good thing at times  .

What is really sad is that everything these people know has been taught using our tax money. I don't know about you, but it sickens me to think that our governments are lying to us "in our best interests".

I just sent three letters to the reporters and to the editors of that phony news item showing morchela esculante edible shrooms. Very much sensationalistic reporting over responsible journalism.
I hope they respnd to my mail. Otherwise I just might go up there and lecture them redneck cops who were afraid to toudh the shrooms. That is really stupidity at uits best.
Ignorance runs rampant in law enforcemt in Idaho is what I say.

It realy sucks they don't realy KNOW anything about what they are dealing with, and nobody teaches the community about these things, so everyone just goes on hear say and believes all the retarded crap everyone seems to think is common knowledge about mushrooms.

Good job MJ but i doubt they'll listen even to you. If you have any friends at universitys you might have them send them an email too. Force a public apology. If you could it would probly make national News, and score one for the shroomery.

WEll the creepy newsteam who wrote the misleading article did not responsd at all to my mail. That shows how ignorant they really are.
Asswipes so i am going to email them again in the morning and bug them, Tell them I am posting news-sitwes which distort truth and mislead its readeers about what they are writing about of which they apparently have no knowledge of.
