Ya your right......they do suck as DJ's. Unfortuantely, venues will still pay Top dollar (about 90% of what they get paid for playing live) for a half ass perfomrnace by a big name that draws the masses. I love Chmeical Bros and they got some good videos too. There is this one with these jellyfish and Whales and all this trippy shit goin down. I gotta find it. Im lookin forward too their new shit that is if its all original and not just a remix CD

I absolutely love the Chemical Brothers. Surrender is one of my favorite albums of all time. Their live show (with Sasha and Digweed opening) was one of the best I've ever seen.

But I think Push The Button is very very weak. Undeveloped, lacking beyond the surface, it doesn't even make me want to dance. I really really need to give it more listens, and I hope it grows on me, but I think it's so disappointing, dry, and sounds like it was made in Fruity Loops.

I thought Come With Us was good, much better live. But not as good as Surrender or Dig Your Own Hole. THose were the 2 best, IMO.

Oh why must you disappoint me Chemical Brothers...

Dig Your Own Hole was an awesome album, but...have you noticed that every track on that CD uses the same beat? Literally. Same beat, but different drum patches/sounds. I still love it though. Can't wait to hear the new stuff.

I just downloaded this album yesterday for a preview listen. GODDAMN! That's all I can say. These guys never cease to amaze me.

"Galvanize" itself is worth the price of buying the CD. Top-notch stuff. And it just gets better and better with each listen.

I give it five out of five shrooms. :smirk:
