and you can use baby food jars too.

I have been using baby food jars with an injection port in the lid for years.

What % of jet-dry do you put in if you're using a 10cc syringe?

Also heres an idea: Take off cap of baby bottle, insert the unattached syringe needle through the hole from the inside. This way it seals around the syringe. If not, use (hot) glue or ducttape.

But the whole point of the baby bottle with the nipple is to greatly reduce the risk of contams. The nipples acts somewhat like a self healing injection site..Yeah it doesnt stay closed completely but I personally think its a much better method then having to almost stick your whole damn syringe in ther, or have a big hole in a lid somewhere. :wink:

How is his idea any different? His keeps sterility down completly by using a self healing injection port without the hole...so it does stay closed completly.

Not that you dont have a nice idea.....

I didn't know he used a self healing injection port...he just said "injection port" so I assumed it was just a hole. And I figured mine was easier for someone to just go to wally world or krogers or somethin and get the supplies :tongue:

Untill now I only made 2 syringes. It could be done in a babyfood jar, but the caps I used where to big for that.

I print it in a sterile jar where appelsauce (for adults :wink:

)was in. That fits the caps. :thumbup:

Polyfilled hole, scrape the spores of the bottom with scalpel, add lid again, squirt sterile water in and GO! :thumbup:

I do all my printing in large ZipLock containers.

Cause some of my prints can get up to being CD size.

cool, but i believe a half a cup will make more like 4 syringes rather than 10.

a half of a cup is 100 ML which which is 100 cc's which makes ten 10cc syringes...........................Where do you get 4 from????

I dunno, i was makeing syringes just the other night, but mine was 12 cc's i filled a coffee cup up coffee cup=1cup, i and boiled it in the microwave till half was gone, it only made 4 syringes. :shrug:
