Finch food question

Hello all,
If one was to use penningtons finch food..... after soaking at room temp for 3 hours.....4:1 finch food to verm..... filling 1 pint jars 1 1/2 inch from top of jar..... with micron magick filters in place.....pressure cooking at 15 psi for 1 1/2 hours....
would one:
have to use casing method(s) or can these be used as big cakes?
if cased would one have to give air to container after placement of casing soil or can it sit covered for a few days then uncovered and left in terrarium?
ok that it i think...thanks in advance for any input....

Crumble the big jars up and case them. If you're new at this, keep things simple and fan 4+ times daily, misting at the same time. Or use Perlite for humidity so all you have to do is fan.
