Substrate/Mycelium Question.........

Here are the facts:
1. Little mycelium growth 2. Grow bag inoculated 15 days ago 3. Bag is in perlite over a heating pad (77 degrees) 4. B strain
Question: Was it bad for me to mix up the substrate(by kneading) after observing mycelium growth? Could this damage the mycelium I did have? What else should I do for a good harvest? Thank you for your time.............

kneading will just spread the already colonised kernels in the substrate which causes more and more of them to get colonised.
that was just allright, but if you kneaded it if you just saw a few grains being colonised you can expect some days waiting prior to seeing any new growth since the grain need to recover before it can go on infecting further grains.
for a good harvest? well let it colonise 100%, then either case it or spawn or fruit it in the bag - there are soo many options peace ohm

you had the right idea but imo i think it would of have been better to just give it a light shake and/or a gentle roll...it will have the same purpose but less shock to the mycelium..and a faster recovery time. peace siam

#1) why is the bag on perlite, colonization/incubation doesn't need high humidity #2) raise your temps into low/mid 80's, 77 is fruiting temp #3) for a good harvest, case/spawn that bag
