Hello I think one of my cakes had BB.

I have a pmp and I misted the cakes directly as well, sometimes too lazy to add water with syringe so mushrooms got wet especially when pins.
This may  have caused teh BC in the second flush.
Forst flush very nice no problems.

Now the same cake appears to have BB again, always the big mushrooms. But this time I did not mist by hand at all.

Can a cake be infected by the BB sow every upcoming pin gets infected? Other cakes in there dont have a problem.. So far that is... ;P

Current cap is a look alike.. :frown: Its is rather big, 3 inch cap and 6 inch stem.

So can BB infect a cake, so new pins are infected automatically. Or only when they meet the wet comditions BB likes?

Have you clean the terrarium since your last grow ?
Anyway, i would recommend using distilled water or tap water with a little h2o2 for misting. Make sure you clean the mist bottle too ...

Thanks for the advice, at least now (few days ago) I started boiling teh water I use for spraying. I poured it in the mist bottle boiling hot..

And I havent cleaned my tub yet, but only 5 cakes been in there, ok multiple flushes.

I might clean it soon and transform it from a PMP to a more suitable terrarium for casings.
