Mescaline Extraction from San Pedro

I've been looking over a lot of ways to extract mescaline from San Pedro, and I would like to know if you guys think this'll do the job.
Using dried cactus material, chop it as fine as possible and then put all of this into a blender, and proceed to mix with alcohol. Leave the mixture in the blender overnight, shake it up some more, then filter out the alcohol. Evaporate this down to the smallest amount possible, and either drink the remaining liquid or scrape up any residue and eat it.
Sound like it would work?

Evaporate it - do not drink it or you'll get drunk.
Do the soak and strain thing for 12-24h, 2 or 3 times at least. Cacti do not like to let go of their alkies easily...

What about using some 80 proof alcohol, and a little lemon juice? (Then mixing with the cactus material, etc, and separating?)
I'm sure that would get out some alkaloids, but the question is would it extract most of them or would it leave a lot behind?
We concluded that an isopropyl extraction and evaporation would be fine too, didn't we?

Why not just learn A/B extraction instead of mucking around?
It's not hard,if you can grow shrooms you can do A/B's.

Yeah, no I agree A/B is usually the way to go. I can't speak for anyone else, but I've only had mixed success with those extractions, and would rather be safe than waste materials.
