I notice that when I make my syringes, the spores all settle to one side and seem to adhere to it, any ideas why?

Those 'spores' you see are actually clumps of hundreds or thousands of individual spores. And if you lay the syringe down, they will sink to the bottom.

As for adhering to the sides, you'll just have to shake the crap out of it to loosen them up when it's time to innoculate!
