Old agar is about to do a PC run of spawn bags. Is thirsty. Looks in fridge for cold drink. Choice is beer or apple juice. Agar ponders a moment.
SUDDENLY a  SPOREin old agars ear shouts: "I'm thirsty to". Agar reaches for beer & apple juice to make the thirsty spore a cocktail.

50/50.....&....simmer / boil alc out of beer first. Or, open, pour in glass & leave set out - over night.

Boil the alcohol out? Put down the bottle and keep your hands where I can see them. That's alcohol abuse mister.

Agar, this community needs a separate board for alternative methods. There are so many ways to cultivate MOLD. What we need is a organized and efficient list of needed nutrients. Then shroomerites can hit up the local grocery stores and go to town posting results... With each added post, options will be slightly narrowed down...or at least save time for future tests. I believe that within a couple of months this community could find far superior growing mediums.
I did organic beans....so far so good. I will post picks at the end of colonization time. They have been colonizing in < 60F temps due to my move cross country in this cold streak. They just got into TIT tonight. I hope to see explosive growth soon.
