would you prefer freedom or security?
Would you prefer to be free,even if it meant life were unpredictable and potentially intimidating or would you prefer security and the guarantee of safety even if it meant like were dull, uneventful and rigidly controlled?

what u are describing is anarchy.....at least what sounds like. VOTE THAT WAY BECAUSE THEN I COULD GO AROUND SHOOTING PPL IN THE LEG FOR NO REASON. limitations are good there is a lot of ppl out there that do not have common sense of any kind and the government in my opinion stops those ppl from hurting other people in society. lets see how "free,even if it meant life were unpredictable and potentially intimidating " if ppl carried guns and could kill anyone they wanted...yea that would be cool? eh

I'd say people should have the freedom to do what they want to only themselves, once they start putting others in danger, that is where laws should come into play. With drugs, if you are only putting yourself at risk (or not at risk) then there should be no set limitations, but there should always be laws against things like murder, rape, stealing, drunk driving, etc.

I don't think It's black and white, you can't just say freedom or security, it's a combination of both.

There will always be a fine line between freedom and security. Nobody wants to live in complete freedom and be terrified to go outside. You need laws, we just have to many.
