Things often get very fuzzy right before a massive pinset...its hard to tell. I have noticed a nice fuzzy fur coat and then knots then pins!

you probably birthed the cakes too soon. did u wait 5 days after the cakes were completely colonized to makes sure the inside of cake had a strong myc network? Also, are you using lighting to initiate pinning?
i usually birth my cakes when inverted pinning is present then case my cakes after 1st flush.

Those cakes look normal.
The way you were talking about fuzz...made it out to be way more fuzzy.
cobweb mold will grow like mad and become very obvious... cobweb is darker than cubensis mycelium... more of a grey than a white. Once you have seen cobweb, it is very easy to tell the difference. Regular cubensis mycelium can look an awful lot like cobweb until you know what to look for.
Here is a picture of cobweb mold.
You don't have cobweb mold.

Good luck!~

The name of this game is patience. Your cakes look normal; don't fuck with them and just wait it out.
