    #3667531 - 01/23/05 11:49 AM (19 years, 2 months ago)

http://www.captainsquartersblog.com/mt/

Two sons of prominent Democratic Politicians and three paid party activists will face Felony charges as a result to keep Republicans from Voting on Election Day. they are accused of cutting tires of some 20 vans rented by the state Republican party (Wisconsin) on election day.

Please somebody go to Washington State, there needs to be some arrests made there too.

It may not be a far reaching conspiracy but I think if it was done by 2 sons of prominant politicians, it is more significant than just a couple of normal low-lifes.

I wonder what ever happened to the person from NAACP who was handing out crack for democratic voter registrations.

Yes, I recall hearing about that. But it was only two people. To be fair, I'm sure both parties have people who resort to such underhanded tactics. As to the Democrats disenfranchising voters, I've seen nothing about this. Links please....

You can't "disenfranchise" someone who isn't a minority. If some repub were out cutting tires in the ghetto, or encouraging KFC to have an all day - all you can eat chicken and watermelon feast, THAT Would be disenfranchisment.

Mindless vandalism albeit politically motivated. It wasn't thousands of people like what happened in Florida in '00...

lol, it was reported in virtually every major news outlet on election day. I dont remember the numbers but they slashed the tires of dozens of vans that were to transport hundereds of voters to the polls in an organized effort.

Do you mean the felons in the counties where Democrats controlled the election boards? Or the retard vote in the counties where the Democrats controlled the election boards? (By retard I refer to the people who couldn't figure out the punch card) I don't think the total numbers matter, anyway ,(has anyone been indicted in Florida yet?) just the crime. One is enough for a charge. Fuck 'em. Have fun in jail, losers.

Mindless vandalism? Bullshit. It was intended to make voting more difficult for people who they thought would vote for someone they didn't like. Not the least bit "mindless".

Yes, I heard about that from several sources. Actually, I was referring to your statement "DEMOCRATS DELIBERATELY DISENFRANCHISED VOTERS ON NOVEMBER 2ND". .
Having said that, I do think those two should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Zappaisgod: While I'm not disputing that the Dems have used dirty tactics before, so have the Reps. They aren't exactly angels either. And i do stand by my statement "mindless vandalism"....

How can it be mindless if it had a purpose other than the simple desire to destroy. It could be stupid, but it wasn't mindless. It had a politically motivated purpose, as you yourself stated. Feh. This is a stupid argument.

No, I didn't make it sound like anything other than what it was, which was an attempt by Democrat operatives to thwart the voting ability of some people who they thought would vote in a way contrary to their wishes. They attempted to subvert the democratic process through violent means to further their own ends. These are felonious acts if even one voter is denied.

Yes, I agree, it is a felonious act to deny anyone the right to vote, regardless of political affiliation. The point I'm trying to make is that both sides are guilty of underhanded tactics during elections. Neither Democrats or Republicans have "clean hands" regarding this sort of thing. Sad, but true...

The outcome of the election was staged, I guess this is but another little smoke screen used to deter attention away from the real issues.

Bush won Ohio.
Kerry won Wisconsin.
Bush won Ohio by a far greater number of votes than Kerry in Wisconsin.
yet....the democrats insisted that the vote was suppressed in Ohio.

and here is a conspiracy  why haven't the feds gotten involved??????

this was clearly an effort to suppress voting. a violation of the VOTING RIGHT ACT.

because the locals file a Felony charge to preempt the Feds doing so, then the local prosecutor's throw out the case. where is Jesse Jackson??? where is usefulidiot???

Even though I didn't support Bush in the last election, the numbers indicate he won, fair and square. Not by much, but I believe he did. At least from what I've gathered from various sources. The Dems bitching about Ohio is just sour grapes, I would think. I'm sure when the political pendulum swings the other way in a few years, the Reps will be bitching too....

Indeed, whenever it's a close race the losers always have a tendency to bitch about it. If there was solid evidence that the race was rigged, then it'd have more weight, but I think it's easier to just believe the majority of American people are idiots. It doesn't require a leap of faith by any means
