myco roots?
    #3667748 - 01/23/05 02:45 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

my cakes have been in my fruiting chamber at about 75 deg F and 96-98% rh. i switched the temps around a little from 68 to 80 after the first week. seems like my myc keeps getting healthier but i have these thick white threads that go down into my perlite. they look like roots. im going to cold shock and dunk em. they have been cold shock, dunked, and rolled before put in chamber. what are these root looking strands? contam?

That is just mycelium branching out, it's perfectly healthy.

two thing trigger pins. light and a temp drop (cold shock). you start by giving them 12/12 light and then bump it down to 6/18. temps to grow should be 74-76F
