Weed & Vaporizor = Less lazyness ???
    #3666901 - 01/23/05 06:01 AM (19 years, 2 months ago)

Any experiences on how this method effects the body??

Is the vapour carrying less "downer" effective substances that the outcome can be less lazyness and heavy-body feelings?

Thanx for your input

That would be my guess depending on how much you toast the weed. If you were to stop smoking at the right point I could see you only getting the best parts of the weed.

You can make a simple vaporizer with a lightbulb, a pen tube, and a bottle cap.
Try doing a google search on "lightbulb vaporizer"

AFAIK, most commercial vaporizers only heat the weed to the point where the THC gets vaporized. The other chemicals, such as cannabinols, etc are not released, and I believe it is these chemicals that are responsible for a large part of the stoning effect. You can, of course, usually raise the heat to make it hotter though.

Uhh...I don't know what kind of vap. you've been using, but considering that they are more effective, getting more THC out of weed than by combusting the same amount of it; they are healthier, removing 99.7% of all carcinogens, tar, CO, etc; and they do not smell so you can be more stealthy with them. If you ask me, they are underrated.

1) No they are not (I'm talking about the quality ones, don't know about those home-made vaporizers) - it's all personal preference, you can't say that smoking is better than a vaporizer, or vice versa.

2) They are much much much healthier for your body than smoking, but most MJ users don't really seem to care about what they are doing to their lungs. Just as long as they are getting high, they couldn't care less.

The only problem I have with vaporizers is that I usually smoke too much, since you can't really feel the hit like you do with smoking (but that's my fault, not the vaporizer).

Vapo Brothers is a good vaporizer - A reasonably priced, quality vaporizer.

Good choice. In mine at least, Salvia works just great.

i have the same problem. everytime i go to use it i still smoke as much budd as i normally do. sometimes more cause i cant feel it. then you get this rush and everything falls in place from there. they make me too stoned.

i still get real fuckign lazy, zone out, eat lots, sleep good. if i need to do somthing i wont use them jsut cause i know i wont be able to do it. if im at work or somthing i still prefer pipes over everything. also vap's need to be pluged in....inconvenient. im sure there are cordless ones now? or perhaps ones that have a car cig lighter adapter or somthing.

Yup, that's just about it. It can lead to some pretty crazy highs.

as a post with over 80,000 views on og is titled; Vaporizing= Harm reduction=clearer high! vaporizing is amazing. for those who say they cant find the right dose, you arent paying enough attention. the first hit from a fresh whip is always the best. i always get this extremely overpowering rush to the head that makes me get out of my seat to walk off the intense dizzy spell which only lasts a few seconds but seems forever. vaping is healthier, a different high, and needs much less herb to achieve the same effects as smoking.

Once I tried a lightbulb vapourizer, but it didn't work, so I just ended up smoking the weed.

I guess to each his (or her) own, but I prefer the art of smoking myself.

I could buy a sack and an expensive vaporizor and get stoned.
Or I could get blunts for a buck a piece and get stoned.
... I'm going with the money-saver.

The effects you get also depend on what strain your smoking.  I have been getting some heavy Indica lately and it makes me lazy as all hell.  They do sell cordless ones, they will run you around 350 bucks (the Vapir), but I guess to some it is worth it.  When I use a vapo, I prefer to sit down and relax and so having the cord feature isn't really a problem for me.

Sometimes I just like to smoke  It doesn't feel the same with the vaporizer :spliff:
