I keep seeing people talking about double end casing, but I can't find a FAQ or walkthrough on it. Can one of you guys link me to one?

its just moist vermiculite at the top and bottom of a cake. you should roll it as well

no, once the myc is 100% colonized on a cake, it very resistant to contams. You can sterilize if you want but there really is no need in it.
For one, it should come pretty sterile in the first place

Well, I found the "dunk and roll" description finally. It says to roll in dry verm after dunking. So, dry or damp verm is the question now.

if the verm is dry that you roll in, it will stick you your wet cake better. And after your cake is in the chamber, about every 3 days or so, you might have to re-moisten the verm that is on the bottom and top.
Use dry verm to roll in

How do you get wet verm on either end of the cake? And, how do you remoisten it every few days?

do this, after you take the cake out of the jar, take the lid and flip it upside down and fill the lid with verm level to the top of the lid. Spray that shit with your bottle and place the cake ontop of it. to keep that moist, you can either turn your sprayer to stream and shoot it in there or take a syringe and shoot it in there. After the cake is on the verm-in-lid, sprinkle some verm ontop of the cake. Sray that shit too with some juice.
Any clearer? Feel free to ask anything(except what your favorite color is 'cuase I have NO FUCKING CLUE!!!!!)

put wet verm on the foil or cap of the jar(depending on what method you use) then put the cake on it then just stuff a handfull of verm on top of cake. You should be ok.

Sounds pretty damn easy. One more question and I think I'll be okay. You guys are saying to spray the verm to remoisturize it, but wouldn't they spray droplets hit they myc and drown it? Or when spraying the top verm layer, wouldn't the water drip through it and hit the top of the cake, drowning that myc? Also, does the water in the spray bottle need to be bottled water or have any peroxide in it?

put peroxide in your water ratio of 1 part peroxide to 10 parts water. You dont want to completely saturate the holy shit out of the top verm. just "moisten" it. And if you turn your sprayer to stream, you will be able to direct the stream away from hitting the cake directly.

Ok, and I plan on putting this in a terrarium with wet perlite underneath. Since I'll have the perlite and double end case, should I even need to mist the terrarium itself or do I just need to keep the double end casing moist?

thats a topic that will get you many differant answers. some say yes, others say no.
All I can say is what I do, I have 4" of perlite and 3" of water. I spray and fan at least 3 times a day. When I wake, when i get home, and before i go to sleep. I may not need all that but "if it aint broke, dont fix it!" Know what Im saying?!

No, i spray onto the inside walls of my chamber, every now and then, i have to syphon a bit of water out but thats few and far between. the mist is deffinately visible when i seal it back up.
